Terms & conditions

These terms apply between Papa & Bande, Inhaber Tobias Ehlers, Göttinger Chaussee 78, 30453 Hannover-Ricklingen (the shop) and its customers. Deviating terms apply only if we have agreed to them in writing.

A booking made on this site is a request, not a confirmed appointment. The contract comes into being when we confirm the slot by telephone, message or email. We may offer an alternative time if the requested slot has been taken in the meantime.

An appointment for a person under 18 may only be booked by a parent or guardian. During the appointment a parent or guardian remains in the shop and is responsible for supervising the child. We reserve the right to stop a cut at any point if the child does not want to continue; in that case only the time actually used is charged, and a first attempt that is abandoned is free.

Please cancel free of charge up to four hours before the appointment by telephone or WhatsApp. If you arrive more than ten minutes late we may shorten the service or move the appointment, because the next family is already at the door. For appointments cancelled later than four hours in advance, or not attended at all, we may charge 50 % of the price of the booked service; you are free to show that no loss or a smaller loss was incurred.

The prices shown on this site are in euros and include statutory VAT. Payment is due immediately after the service, in cash or by EC and credit card. Prices for children apply up to and including the twelfth birthday.

Vouchers are valid for three years from the end of the year of issue and are not exchangeable for cash. The holiday offer applies within the Lower Saxony school holidays, Tuesday to Thursday before 12:00, once per family per holiday period and is not combinable with other offers.

If you are not happy with a cut, tell us within seven days and we will correct it free of charge. We ask for the chance to put it right ourselves before other claims are made.

Please do not come with an infectious illness, with head lice or with an untreated scalp condition. Tell us about allergies before we start. We use fresh linen for every customer and clean all tools, including the toys, between customers.

We are liable without limitation for injury to life, body and health and for intent and gross negligence. In case of slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of an essential contractual obligation, and only up to the foreseeable damage typical of this kind of contract. We accept no liability for items left behind in the shop.

The first-haircut certificate is a free extra. It is generated on your own device; we neither store nor supply a copy, so we cannot re-issue one for you later. Print it before you close the page.

German law applies, with the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country of your habitual residence remaining unaffected. Should individual provisions be invalid, the remainder of these terms stays in force.
